"I visited the gibraltar garden on sunday for lunch and was very impressed with their newly refurbished interior, family atmosphere and extensive menu catering for a wide chiose of tastes and styles, including a section for children(i'll have what dads having in half portions)
my husband had a pint of adnams ale, which was of excellent quality and i had a appletize (both reasonably priced)
we orderd our lunch at the bar (mine a large yorkshire pudding filled with roast turkey, vegetables, roast potatoes and gravy)
my husband had the roast beef.
both meals were served to our table promtly and piping hot.
We finished our meal with a chocolate dessert(choccarocca I think it was called) and a hot apple pie and custard.
Our trip to the Gibraltar in total cost £25.65 including the drinks, which we considered great value for money.
We intend to revisit on a Saturday night with a group of friends in a couple of weeks time. "
