"Living just outside Nottingham we frequently visit various public houses in the city.
We had not been in Langtrys for a number of years and decided to go in on a Sunday afternoon for somehting to eat arounf 5pm
We ordered and wer advised that it would be a wait of 25 minutes for our food which was not a problem.
1 hour later we had still not received our meals and went to speak to Chris the Manager whose attitude was well we've been busy (during the 1 hour we had been sat in the pub only 9 plates of food had come out of the kitchen - hardly busy I would say!). There was no apology just a very arrogant attitude from the Manager, when we asked who to write to and complain he siad there was not much point as he was the boss and what he said went! We went with a full refund and a vow never to return again.
I would recommend that people do not spend their hard earned cash in this establishment if that is the attitude of the manager, with so many pubs closing I would have thought he should be looking after his customers not driving them away!"

"Popular city centre pub opposite Concert Hall. Good Stella but sometimes feel the pipes need cleaning. Good service but can get very crowded. Gets very smokey after 6pm. Will benefit from 2007 smoking ban. Attracts varied clientele including theatre goers. Outdoor seating to escape the smoke. Pub crawl circuit."
