On 05-7-2012 pubuser1 said : "Unfourtyanely, since the last post in 2005- this pub is no longer. This has been boarded up since late 2010. I don;t think it helped when a pint of Strongbow in Oldham town centre went up to £3.05. With that went a lot of trade and ultimtaely it has not survived. As with most JW Lees pubs- it is quite expensive, but it is depressing to see yet another pub disappear in Oldham."

On 27-9-2005 maxine said : "very nice pub serves great food, bar staff are always friendly. i would recommend it to anyone young or old."

On 28-8-2004 traceymx5 said : "well what can i say this pub is owned by my dad terry and his wife pearl. the have carvery,and also kareoke on a friday.it is a nice atmosphere and never any trouble,they do a great range of food thoughout the week and at weekends the students can have meals from 1pound thoughout the week and the beer is cheap this pub is next to mecca bingo in oldham town centre 01616248603 be sure to tell them tracey there daughter gave you this info they also do bed&breakfast upon request with love tracey x x x"
