John the Walter Mitty of the town talks about his time in the Marines (he was never in them) and can also spin a good yarn on any other subject you care to talk about (he does listen in on other peoples conversations too so beware). He will also shout (yes he is very loud) and goes on to call out a string of expletives in one of his fairy tales. This is all backed up by the landlady Amanda who will get things completely wrong and blame other people for her partners mess ups and then ban them.
