On 22-4-2007 tweek said : "Bogarts has opened again, it is fairly basic pub serving three Everard's ales and two or three guests. Handy for the bus and railway stations and the Queensgate shopping centre.."

On 02-8-2004 bram said : "This establishment was formerly known as the Ostrich. It became Bogarts in the early 1980's, and for a time was run by a Pete Waller. The pub is currently closed awaiting refurbishment."

Budweiser, Stella, Fosters, Carlsberg. Warsteiner, Guiness and Scrumpy Jack

Real ales available :

Everard Tiger, Sunchaser and Original. Also offer 3 guest Ales constantly changing. During Bank Holiday Beer Festival anything upto 20 real ales inside and out.
