"Have been here for quite a few meals and have never had cause for complaint, the service can be a little slow at times but the staff are really friendly and helpful. It has one of the best smoking area's around Rugeley, and a nice outdoor seating area at the front of the pub, good value for money meals. Sorry, dont know if they have real ale or not ..."

Pool table, darts and cribbage.
Rather non-descript keg beers. Bar snacks but no restaurant facilities.
Car parking is very limited for those who want to risk drinking and driving. ..."

"the red lion was built 1543 so a very old listed building so yes very low beams . its a bankes house so there real ale is of course bankses which is very good i have been told(i am a larger drinker). the landlady has been there for nearly 2 years now and the one before 7 years so not to bad a proper pub ..."
