"I visited on 9/6/2006 in the evening. The pub looked promising but the food was very poor. I had the cod and chips and the chips were overcooked but soggy (reheated?) and the fish was more than 50% batter and also overcooked. Most of the staff were very friendly but the manager appeared to be having a bad day! ..."
