On 15-11-2004 hally40 said : "Having passed this pub regularly for nearly 30 years I've now actually been in it (Nov 2004). And I was very pleasantly surprised. Nice and cosy inside with an excellent range of food on the cheaper side and adequate range of drinks. It could be quite difficult avoiding the smoking fraternity, but when there are few inside you can get away from them."
