"I have visited this pub a 2 dozen times(I live in Mansfield) over the last 15 years, today the pub is still worth a visit and I would recommend it to you if you find yourself in the area, john pichers, the former landlord and ownenr was passionate about the New Inn and this was reflected in the sheer diversity in the ales and bottled beers he sold, ask for a beer and you would receive a menu,at one time he had around 80 beers from around the world.
The new owners have kept much of what john had developed and today its possible to have nice local ale along side a Belgium fruit beer.
Well worth a visit."

"Revisited the New Inn - as good as it ever was - draught ale from local breweries plus good homecooked food. You can sit in or outside where the views are marvellous. Still one of the best pubs in Wharfedale.

"Another Wharfedale gem. The New Inn sells Daleside bitter, Daleside Blonde, Theakstons OP & Theakstons Black Bull, complemented by an extensive range of bottled Belgian beers. We visited Sunday lunchtime & were faced with a specials board which made your mouth water. The pub claims to be a mountain bike livery & there are plenty of bike lock stations. Service is polite & friendly & there is always local colour to make a visit entertaining."
