Many of our guests commented on the very well presented buffet. We will be mentioning the Croft as a venue for a celebration."

The starter was ok,but WAS just a lump of heated up Camembert so they couldn't really mess that up. Overall to expensive and the service was to slow:(((( "

On 16-8-2011 neilrenn said : "Just had lunch in The Croft. It took over 45 mins to arrive (even though there were less than 10 in there eating) and was quite poor. My wife had the blandest lasagne she's ever eaten and I had a very dry chicken burger. This is simply poor pub food dressed up to appear fancier than it is so that they can add a few quid on to the price. One of the staff apologised about the wait but didn't offer anything complimentary. The other staff member was quite defensive when we mentioned about the wait and the quality of the food. It's a real shame as the pub is nicely decked out. We won't be returning sadly."

On 24-12-2010 davel said : "Great improvement in the decore and the general feel of the place is much better. Food from the menu was good and so was the sevice, the only problem was the desert was not totaly up to standard. But over all will give it another go. "

On 25-11-2010 embrown said : "I've just been to the newly re-fitted 'Croft Inn', Wow what a change! Me and my husband sat by the log fire and with the cold weather outside we could of sat there forever! What a lovely change to have a pub without a TV! My husband had a London Pride and I had a Latte which was the best I have had from a pub. We will definitely be coming again!"

On 21-10-2010 briangriffin said : "I had to wait 45 minutes for the wrong dish - how a chicken pasta dish can become ham egg & chips I don't know. When the dish arrived , after my wife and son had finished - it was poor and certainly not worth the wait. The patronising manager offered us a coffees, but I didn't want to wait there any longer enough. It has been refurbished very nicely, but I won't be back"
