On 02-7-2008 swanscum said : "Fully agree with PJM. FILTHY DIRTY HOLE. The curtains are rank FILTHY host to a zillion bugs and germs. Who in their right mind would enter a scummy place like this. DO THEY HAVE A CLEANER if so He/She should be sacked. Toilets are pure FILTH. Bar staff no manners. Should be knocked down to the ground and something clean and worthwhile built in it's place. "
       

On 17-4-2007 ml said : "This is a good family venue. Ignore pjm's slanderous comments. The club is still here and thriving. It is a good place to be on a Sunday night with live music, bingo and lots of fun. The drinks are at club prices too so its good value for money."

On 29-6-2004 pavilion said : "This club is the Heart of the village of Swanscombe - there are different sections you can join for sports, dance, etc, or be a social member to enjoy the cheaper bar prices. There are events on throughout the year, such as family fun day, family discos, cabarets, supper dances, trips away, OAP events, the club is non-profit making and any profit goes back into improving facilities and putting on more events. Thoroughly recommended."
       

On 18-6-2004 mightymole said : "this is a memebers club not a pub as such new members are always welcome. it's a family club.it's full name is swanscombe and greenhithe association of sports and social clubs. what can i say friendly staff good atmoshere well worth the tenner joining fee (plus 3 quid if a new member for 1st yr) "
