On 18-6-2004 mightymole said : "pubspy in the localnews shopper slatted this pub saying it was unbeleivably grimy, the bar man mechanically feeding the fruit machine when not serving, and the only bright thing about this pub is the garish yellow paintwork on the outside of the building. it may of been leaned up but it got the worst rating this year by the news shopper pubspy who goes round checking on pubs then reports and rates them i cannot believe it's a recommended pub."
