"I would not reccomend this pub if you are on a budget, we went lunchtime and had lasagne and a lamb steak. the Childrens chicken bites and chips were £6.95. A mug of Milky coffee was £3.25.
Our Bill for 2 meals, 3 coffees, a coke, a dessert and a childs meal at lunchtime was £41.00 odd. the food was ok, wont be attending again. I queried the porice of the coffee and was told "well it is made of all milk". "

"My colleagues and i recently had the pleasure of visiting this Pub. We found the Staff to be very friendly and polite. The service was top rate and the food was outstanding in both quality and quantity. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant and we found it a great place to relax. we had two meals here in the same day and would highly recommend this Pub to anyone who finds themselves in the area of the Gwyn Arms. "This is another pub which has been given over almost exclusively to the restaurant mentality. If you want just a bar snack you have to eat in the small 'drinking' (and smoking) area, otherwise you are expected to have a full meal - even at 2.00pm (August 2004). This is one of 4 pubs within about 1/2 mile and in the middle of nowjhere on the Swansea Brecon road. I can't speak of the other pubs, yet, but the ambience is OK at this one, until you get chased away by badly behave children whom no-one saw fit to control."
