On 20-11-2009 derek_bennett said : "This pub is a typical Ember Inns, been in one and you have been in the all. At the time of writing the Bell is closed undergoing refurbishment. It has never been a favorite of mine, I prefer the Longhorn which is another Ember Inns nearby, although the Bell is a very popular pub."

On 28-8-2006 betty_swollocks said : "A "comfy" pub with friendly staff, beer is cheaper than most establishments of this nature and it stocks real ales eg: Highgate etc.,"
