On 28-11-2007 betty_swollocks said : "The name has nothing to do with pigs, it's all about the industrial heritage of the area. The sow was a large block of iron, the pigs were cut from it to make smaller, more manageable blocks. A good clean pub, small with no room to expand. Friendly staff and well kept ale. mainly older clientele, worth a visit to see an old Black Country pub."
