On 08-1-2012 euryalus said : "Known for many years as The Marlborough, this establishment has been re-launched as "The Blue Boar", the name used prior to about 1818. Once a large coaching inn with extensive stabling and other facilities in a quadrangular yard at the rear (although it was not a posting house), The Blue Boar still offers food and accommodation, while its fairly spacious front bar is well-patronised throughout the day."
