"We are local to this pub and were looking for somewhere to eat at Christmas, we thought we would eat there last night to see what the food was like, as we had heard some good things about the lunch menu. If I said at 42 years of age its the worse meal I have ever had the misfortune to sit in front of - I would not be joking. If you enjoy packet mash - frozen watery veg and micro puddings (Both steak and ale and Broc and Coli were the same and could fit in my 11 yr old daughters hand easy) that were soggy and tiny - please eat here. How Glad I was not to have booked for Christmas - we will spend our £200 plus elsewhere, thank you - we were not asked about the meal but were offered a free pudding when I complained, but we were glad to leave if thats the best they could do. There should be a law against micros being used in kitchen and staff should be taught to cook - The Broadway up the road is the same. At least the menu should state clearly that you are buying a micro meal! With drinks we speand nearly £50 and I would say we had £20 worth of value."
