On 18-9-2008 recumbent_rider said : "Went to the Smugglers for lunch on our last day in Mortehoe. It was a Sunday so was a roast meal with a choice of either beef or lamb. Our party ordered a combination of both. When it arrived the plate was well presented and filled with both meat and veg. All very well cooked and tasted excellent. The landlady sat in the bar and had the same meal as we did, so it must be all right! Draught beers (real ales) were good, voted the best in the village by party members. Strongly recommend to all."
