On 28-10-2007 realale said : "A superb pub - all that a pub should be! Great beer, up to six on hand pump as well as cider and perry. Good food and a friendly welcome make this pub worth seeking out. And the landlord's eyebrows are worthy of a visit all on their own!!"
       

On 11-12-2004 copykat said : "Great beer at this freehouse. John knows how to keep and serve his beer to perfection. Beers change reguarly, but expect to see Bathams and Hook Norton amongst them. Also has perry on tap."
