"Went for lunch today, and had a geat meal of Scottish venison medallions. Followed it down with a couple of pints of MHB Black Pear.
Everything perfect..
Apparently the landlord has only been in the trade a year - he certainly seems to have got everything about right."

"Well off the beaten track. Some cracking ales (including Timoth Taylor Landlord - which was superb, and Hook Norton Best). My colleague tried the Flowers IPA and the Hopback Summer Lightening which where equally delicious.
Food was very good - we both had homemade game pie. The landlord told me that all the game was shot locally.
Haven't tried the accommodation yet - but will be back to stay in the summer"
