"visited on 19/8/04 and never again. we were a party of 4 adults and 1 child. Ordered a meal and after 40 minutes and no meal, i spoke to the manager who said it was next to be plated up. 15 minutes later still no meals! It was another 5/6 minutes before they arrived. My steak was overcooked, the so called grilled half tomato was stone cold, and the ..."

"A cracking little boozer.
Been a while since my last visit to Worksop, but this gem of a real ale house always makes the visit worth while.
Since my last visit the proprietor has invested in a new bar. But the ambience is still the same, and the place remains unspoilt.
Three guest ales greet you, and from my visit, it was refreshing to see ..."
