On 10-8-2005 mandog said : "Now well established as a great place to eat good food, listen to live music as well as a quiz night and kareoke. The landlord can often be seen on stage playing a mean blues harp. There are also some interesting after dinner drinks. With welcoming staff and great sea views, what more could you want?"
       

On 17-4-2004 mandog said : "The Half Brick recently changed hands and is fast becoming a great place to drink real ales, listen to live music and eat good food. The landlord (Bob) is indeed a muscian who plays a mean blues harp. Attracting a mixed clientele, you will be made to feel very welcome. As a newcomer to the area, I should know."
