The Sunday lunches are a treat, offering a range of roasts and vegetarian alternatives and all meals are freshly cooked. There is no problem about asking for a smaller portion and it is a pleasure to eat in relaxed surroundings near a real fire. Meals are served during the week as well and, when I tried an evening meal last week, I found the same high standard as on Sundays. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I can't comment on the beer as I don't drink alcohol but there is a very good range of non-alcoholic drinks. All I can say is that, if I lived nearer, I'd go there every night!"
