On 21-8-2006 heck123 said : "A miserable atmosphere with 1970's sandwiches selling as 'snacks' and nescafe as 'coffee'. Same old duo for music every Thursday. rubbish."

On 06-12-2005 postiebob said : "Was drinking Bombardier at £2,20 and again playing bar billiards. an excellent corner pub and plenty of real ales on line, try it out its a mini beer festival all year round."

On 12-9-2005 postiebob said : "Went to the beer festival FOZZ FEZZED on the 11/9/05 around 14 beers on tap tried Woldsman Bitter and No Eyed Deer both spot on also a BBQ in the beer garden. Only small rooms but very friendly, used by Camra for there branch meetings."
