Lincoln Pubs : The Peacock Inn pub in Lincoln
'This is a Hardy and Hansons pub and they keep a really good pint. I can recommend the 'Old Trip' for lovers of strong ale. The food is also excellent with a varied menu of delicious dishes served either in their smart restaurant or at the bar. There is a sports telly but it doesn't dominate proceedings.'

'A small and very friendly pub selling a wide range of superbly kept, real ales. The pub hosts an anual beer festival and occaisionally has live music. Small beer garden overlooking the rear gate to the castle. No sports telly.'

Lincoln Pubs : The Strugglers Inn pub in Lincoln
'This is a very small pub with a big warm atmosphere. The friendly and helpful barstaff sell a wide range of well kept, real ales and free range eggs. Food is only served at lunch times unfortunately. No sports telly, but a small coverd beer garden at the rear.'

Lincoln Pubs : The Woodcocks Inn pub in Lincoln
'Great location for a pub, right next to the river, but very inconsistent in standards of service, beer and food. Can be very good and Marstons can be a lovely pint. However, the guest beers don't get enough care. The food service too can be patchy with long waiting times even when the pub is not particularly busy.'
