Sandy Pubs : The Sir William Peel pub in Sandy
'Great ale. The lcoals laid a suspicious eye on a couple of yank tourists showing up mid-day. Package food only, it seems, but the stuffed rolls were to die for. Backed by its own brewery. If you see the turnoff for Sandy, take it and proceed down the long road (pub on left).'

London (EC) Pubs : Ye Old Mitre pub in London (EC)
'It’s old. Some of the chairs might be over a hundred years old. Has an old tree trunk over 400 years old as a boundary mark. Legally it’s part of Cambridgeshire, not London. It’s also hard to find, being entered by a very narrow passage. Staff is informative about the local history. Go for the atmosphere, and have an ale as well. It's a real ale kind of place. '
