Ulverston Pubs : The Devonshire Arms pub in Ulverston
'Since they came to The Devonshire Arms from their previous pub, the Anglers' Arms in Haverthwaite, Hilary and Vic Sharratt have transformed the place. They serve good, well-cooked food at very reasonable prices, run a well-supported quiz night every Tuesday (9.30, proceeds to Sandside Lodge School), take part in various LVA leagues, have good live musical acts every Saturday, oh, and did I mention the cooking? In my humble opinion, the Devonshire Arms is THE place to have a night out at!'
