'A small quiet pub under the railway at cathcart station used to go here when i worked up the road from it i'd say the average age group in here is aprox 50-90 yrs young !!! Nice and handy if you've missed your train! They do quiz nites and kareokes etc the food used to be quit good too.'

'Bourban Street is famous for its Abba and Robbie Williams nites, they do works doos and nights out etc prices range from about £15-£20 that includes yer grub and the show after 10pm or 11pm it is open as a night club £5 entry at the door, the pr staff in here can be found in a few of the surrounding pubs and usually have free passes on them, bar prices are average, music is a mix of 60s 70s 80s and charty stuff and a bit of dance thrown in too, good night out with a large group of friends age range in here is mixed but mostly your mature clubber attends!'

'cool place for the 30-40yrs strawberry fields well known for Robbie Williams turning up one night after a Glasgow concert not quite sure why?! Older style music, used to run dj nights on sundays, where u just took yer records down and if lucky get a shot of trying to woo the croud with ur talents on the wheels of steel, another nite the used to do on a sunday again was the £15 nite u pay £15 at the door and drink as much as u wish the whole nite allthough it was only certain drinks beer and cider if my memory serves me correctly. '

'sounds like a nice wee traditional Scottish pub!!! in a sence it is but if your visiting Glasgow please dont go here!!! in days of old it used to be the Gallery the Gallery was closed down for being too much trouble and full to burst with underagers i know this as i was one of them, its still pretty much the same only now its mixed with very drunk older charecters id defenetly say it aint a pub for th tourists!!! Allthough handy for Central station be warned!!!!!!!'

'This is now long gone and has changed hands and is now called STONES, the owners of Stones also own 2 other places 1 in Paisley and cant remember where else sorry!!! Stones is Quiet coz of where it is But it is lovely for a bite to eat and a quiet drink, they run nites for footie rugby girly nites and have a regular dj so its not as busy as a Glasgow pub but busy for a Newton Mearns Pub!'

Mixed age group...tends to b slightly older 30 somethings, Dj daddy cool plays an assortment of cheesey, dancey, and a bit of well everything really from the 60's and up, usually between £5 and £7 to get u in has bn known as a bit of a meet market a snog is more or less guarenteed!!!'
