'Jane and Griff took the pub over in April and are determined that it will be a well-known venue for up and coming bands. Local bands who have already played there are The Bailiffs, The Earls, Parka Stylo and yesterday there was an amazing gig by Lionel's Tamborine and guests - quirky modern acoustic folk music.'

'"The Trees" - an excellent cover band from Huddersfield played last night - they were really good - I'd encourage people to see them - they're playing here again in January - Mott the Hoople, Rolling Stones, The Zutons - all sorts!'
