Urmston Pubs : The Railway Tavern pub in Urmston near Manchester 'Like all pubs it's what floats your boat. If your knocking on towards retirement age and just want a pint of bitter, slippers and the company of eccentric elderley drunks then you've found your true eutopia. The beer's cheap, the atmosphere's smokey and for me, it's uneasily like visiting your old nan in the old folks home, except with alcohol and a little less spitting and self-defecation. Yours, Garry Knight.' Report
Urmston Pubs : Church Inn pub in Urmston near Manchester 'The punters are pretty friendly though if one or two of the bar staff were to crack a smile their faces would break. Beer's a bit pricey but some excellent grub and Friday night darts is a popular event! Also, directly opposite a graveyard so if you want to contact some spirits after some spirits you won't have to stagger too far.' Report
Urmston Pubs : Moss Vale pub in Urmston near Manchester 'I once got a round in here after contacting my bank to negotiate the re-mortgaging of my house.' Report
Sale Pubs : The Met pub in Sale 'I have to agree with Amyh. If an alien visited this pub he would think taxis have red stripes down the side, flashing lights and sirens. I think Murder on the Dancefloor would be an apt curtain raiser. The pub is, in effect, a breeding ground for anyone missing their celebrum. Dress code strictly heavy duty silverware and sovereigns.' Urmston Pubs : The Victoria pub in Urmston near Manchester 'This rates as the worst pub in Manchester. It consists of one, open-plan room about the size of a 5-a-side footy pitch. It's rough and has the charm of Fred West in a bad mood. Only saving graces are a couple of pool tables and a pretty decent jukebox. ' Report
