Great Yarmouth Pubs : Troll Cart pub in Great Yarmouth
'A Wetherspoons pub built from new in 1996.Has the usual type of Wetherspoons food.A good selection of ales including real ales.Plus Greene King Abbott Ale,my favourite.A busy pub with friendly staff.A good mixture of all age groups use this pub.Just one large bar but split between smokers and non-smokers with a good size family area in the non-smoking part.Has 2 medium size screens with sub titles rather than sound. No pool tables etc.Ventilation shafts sometimes blow cold air around some tables. Not always wanted, and on windy days it can be draughty sitting near the main doors.Toilets not always in the best condition. But overall a good comfortable pub.Open from 9am to 11pm or later. Is next to the bus station and town centre.'
Report

Great Yarmouth Pubs : Two Necked Swan pub in Great Yarmouth

Is a little on the expensive side but does sell Yarmouth bitter from the Blackfriars brewery.Yarmouth's only local, albeit small brewery.Doesn't do food.No pool table.4 normal size tv screens. This pub is open all day and is light and airy with a comfortablr bar.'

Great Yarmouth Pubs : Feathers Hotel pub in Great Yarmouth
'This pub has been made into one bar but still has alot of character. Its a warm and welcoming pub that is reputed to be the oldest surviving pub in Great Yarmouth dating back to the 1500's.It has an original doorway through which Charles 11 entered the pub. When I visited the pub I had to drink Boddingtons as the only other bitter was John Smith which I don't like. But it was a lovely summers day and they have a nice courtyard that captures the sun in the morning and most of the afternoon so I enjoyed my time there.Betty is in charge so perhaps they should be serving Betty's hot pot. Thanks to Pauline for serving me so promply'

Great Yarmouth Pubs : Barking Smack pub in Great Yarmouth
'A family seafront pub.Went in on a Saturday night when they had a good group playing from 2130 to midnight.(Euphoria).They have an outside area which is great for drinking on a nice warm summers day. There is a childrens bouncing castle there.Good or bad? Felt cleanliness could have been better. There was a large piece of fish on the floor not far from the bar when I arrived at 2030 which wasn't cleaned up until 2200.But they do serve a good pint of Abbott Ale.(My favourite).Would use again but probably in the daytime when I could sit outside.'

'A lovely clean pub to spend a relaxing summers afternoon in or out as they have a nice seating area overlooking the river where you can watch the boats go by.Quite a big pub for the area with a fine selection of ales.Good food, the only drawback for me was that most tables were set out with knifes and forks which is always a downer for me when I enter a pub. It's a bit out of the way but a very popular place.overall I must have liked it as I had to do a 10 mile round walk to get there and I done it 2 days running.'
