'I don't understand where the previous two comments come from - Yes - the owner is loud & Yes - he can be a bit og a bugger at times - But these previous comentees are missing the point - This pub is a REAL pub with REAL characters & Not one of the many bland and boring managed houses that seem to be everywhere these days - So If you want to visit a pub with some good banter, food & Real ale - Go to this one - YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED Andy '

Barmouth Pubs : The Crown Hotel pub in Barmouth
'You are assured a friendly welcome at the Crown - The staff are superb and outgoing, Sal and Pete -the management-(apart from being a bit nuts), are really friendly and attentative, and despite it being quite a large pub it feels quite intimate here. You should feel right at home! It's also worth noting that the background music they play here is always extreemly cool! It's worth further noting that this is the haunt of the local lifeboat crew, so if you're a boat/jet ski owner or just occasionally get blown out to sea on your 'lilo' you might like to buy them a drink!'
