'the pub looks lovely and inviting from the outside. the staff are rude and unhelpful, the drinks are nasty - the coke tasted of water only and the meals are over priced = even when bogof - i ordered steak and chips and thats what i got - £9.85 is expensive - i thought i would have least had a spoonful of peas - i asked for rare but it came like shoe leather - would not recommend to anyone'

'what a lovely friendly and local pub. the owners and bar staff are friendly nd nothing is too much trouble. the drinks are priced ok and they sell magners!!! i recommend anyone to visit the the vine and enjoy a sunday supper for £1.25'
