'This place is definitely on an uphill climb - having been in several times over the past year and its gone from tatty white to gaudy red to finally deciding on a stylish wood look now with a pulpit as a DJ box! It definitely has more to offer when the entertainment is on - fab weekends! As for the murder nights? Sounds like a great idea - at least they're trying something different - gonna try and get down and see one - it seems this place is on its way out of the mire!'

'AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Went for lunch on saturday BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD idea! We were served by a miserable young gentleman in flip flops who couldn't make me a coffee because he didn't know how to work the machine. We ordered our food - sat and waited...... and waited..... and waited and then were approached by a chav who told us the kitchen was broken and they couldn't do food! A waste of 25minutes of my life PLUS if the place is going to open late the night before perhaps it might be worth getting a cleaner in to spruce it up for the next day.'

Aldcliffe Lance Pubs : The Waterwitch pub in Aldcliffe Lance near Lancaster
'I do like this place and the food is indeed scumdidlly - however, what is it with bar staff who ask you if you want a last drink before they close the bar and then at 30 seconds past the bar closing they badger you to finish them and get out - am I wrong in assuming we have 30mins drinking up time? If so I apologise - if not - LET ME FINISH MY DRINK IN PEACE!!!'

'Okay, this place doesn't deserve the rating it's got.... yet - having only just been rebranded from a gay bar to a biker bar (one pole to another!) we should give em a chance - I've been in midweek and it's friendly - they've got bands on at the weekend so are putting their money where their mouth is - lets give em time and then see what happens! So far so good tho!'
