'The pub is one of my favourites. There is a small selection of real ale that I appreciate, the food is wonderful and a very good wine selection that doesn't hurt your pocket. It has a bowling green and is set in lovely surroundings'

'One of my favourite pubs. Wonderful real ales, good food and wine selection. Also good accomodation. First class service from staff'

Wellington Pubs : The Cock Inn pub in Wellington near Telford
'Must be one of the best real ale pubs in the country. The landlord really knows his stuff. The food is cobs of various kinds and the magnificent Paddy Ryan pork pies. Superb!'

Ironbridge Pubs : The Golden Ball Inn pub in Ironbridge near Telford
'Disagree with Stevane. Seems like they are getting too many national brews, ie Speckled Hen, Pedigree (which is a shadow of its former self), Timmy Taylor (not as good as it was due to overproduction) and Everards. They must go back to their real micros and small independants. However although Johan (excellent bar person agrees) he has a limited range to choose from as it is now owned by a national pubco. Still a geat place though'
