'A very nice traditional pub. The wife and I have visited a number of times now and are very pleased with the standard of food and service. The lovely landlady talked us into trying a Sunday carvery and we have been there every Sunday since! Lovely fresh food and polite staff. Definitely one of the best pubs around.'

'Has had some much needed renovation. Restaurant has a nice warm feel about it now. Lovely to sit by the river in the summer. Worth a visit, even though a bit far from town.'

Ely Pubs : The Minster Tavern pub in Ely
'I maybe went in on a bad day but the food was awful. Service was ok but when you pay £7 for a meal you want to be able to eat it. Worth going in for a drink, just not if you're hungry!'

'Nice cosy pub. Friendly staff serving with a smile, which is always nice! The only place to get cheap drinks in Ely at happy hour from 5-7pm. Has garden area which is nice in the summer.'
