'very good service from jay and chris.its a real drinkers pub with pool table, darts and a 7 foot screen for sport.green king ipa is the only ale, but there are 3 pumps and will be having guest ales soon.its not posh, its not expensive... its a true old style pub.'

'a truly great ale house, the new people have tried to keep up the brilliant work that Jay did, he recieved runner up pub of the year with the counties camra group, i think it should have been first. 5 pumps of ever changing ales..... please get Jay back, best landlord ive ever seen'
