Burnley Pubs : The Victoria Inn pub in Burnley
'The Victoria is really a bit of a dive. The bar staff are useless and the landlady is always drunk. She bars people for hardly anything or if she does not like the look of you! Regulars say it is not even her pub she just runs it for some guy who is none existent The place is full of drunks and when the karaoke is on cover your ears! She also runs a pot draw at weekends. Beware! she always wins it or one of her relatives or the bar staff.... Not recommended. '

Burnley Pubs : The Prairie pub in Burnley
'I have just tried to book tables for a meal for a celebration and was told by some young person on the phone that it was not allowed. I was going to take 20+ people for a meal and of course they would be drinking so you would think that they would welcome the custom! However, I was told that we should just go and "hopefully find the space" for all of us and we "may" be able to push tables together if any are available Again, you would think that any landlord would welcome the custom of 20 paying people wanting meals and drinks rather than put them off saying they were unable to help Needless to say we will be going elsewhere... Prairie pub, it is your loss not ours '
