Linthwaite Pubs : The Royal Oak Inn pub in Linthwaite near Huddersfield
'Definitely a local pub for local people, and older... sorry more mature people at that, didn't see many under 30, and mainly couples in when I went so probably not somewhere you're going to pull. The bar range was decent and they have regular guest ales, although it's just down the road from the Sair Inn which is where you'd probably expect the serious real ale drinker to be. Pool table, dart board and sport on TV all on offer, as well as the seemingly obligatory DJ on a Saturday night'

Milnsbridge Pubs : The Post Ofice Hotel pub in Milnsbridge near Huddersfield
'Decent pub, I visited on Saturday night when there's weekly karaoke and found a mainly younger crowd. Cheap pints, plenty of screens for sport (or karaoke lyrics) and a pool table. And a couple of decent takeaways nearby for afterwards.'

'Not too bad a pub, disappointing range of drinks though - I object to paying £2.00 for a pint of Strongbow poured from a 2 Litre bottle they bought from the Kwik Save next door for £2.59'

'Top pub - karaoke every night (and all afternoon too at weekends) with a late license to 1am every day except Sunday (12.30). A great night out.'
