Croston Pubs : The Wheatsheaf Hotel pub in Croston near Preston
'Pub and dining areas have pleasant atmosphere. Fast and attentive service with food presented well. However, for the price of the main meals we expected something a bit more special than the norm, unfortunately the food we felt was overpriced and bland. We were presented with a small (possibly homemade) 'loaf of warmed white bread and butter' whilst waiting for our meal - we were charged for this, however it was tastier than the main dishes. '
