'Great food and the beers not bad either. Very busy in summer,get there early if you want to eat. Very nice pub in a great location. Dogs not allowed in eating areas but ok upstaris and outside by the fishpond and at the side by the little playground. The serve REAL ALE thats brewed on the island,very nice.'

Shanklin Pubs : The Fishermans Cottage pub in Shanklin
'Great pub,to me the best in shanklin,right on the beach,have a drink and a nice meal while the nippers play on the sand (no roads to worry about). Entertainment summer evenings,Lewis berry a good singer and sometimes a lady guitar player/singer whos very good and entertaining. Spent many a happy lunchtime/evening here. looovellyy.'

Shanklin Pubs : The Chine Inn pub in Shanklin
'Wonerfull view over the chine to the cliffs and beach,a great place to watch to watch the world go by. Great beer,iv'e been visiting this pub 31 years and it's allways had a special something. Built in 1614 the old house has charm. Good food as well,never had a bad meal here.'
