Abergavenny Pubs : Market Tafarn pub in Abergavenny
'Went there last Sunday afternoon, and have to say that this is one of the friendliest pubs I have visited for a long time. It has recently been taken over by Viji & Janie, who went out of their way to make us welcome. Great atmosphere, great beer, and a fantastic live band (called "Blue Blisters")playing from about 4:30 until after 7. Apparently the band are here every Sunday to encourage local musicians to get up and jam with them, and it sems to be working well from where I was sitting. I would rate this pub 11 out of 10. I understand that they are about to start doing food and B&B too - best of luck. We will definitely be going back'
