Coalport Pubs : Shakespeare Inn pub in Coalport near Telford
'I now live in Norway and one thing I really miss about this pub is the atmosphere and the food. You are looked after every moment and feel like a friend as you arrive. The first time I visited, we waited outside for a taxi, after 10 minutes they asked us to come back in and gave us drinks (on the house!) The food is fantastic. Twins are the owners (Adrian and Ivor) and they are also the 1st class chefs. I have travelled the planet but I always look forward to coming back to "the best pub in the world" You have to book well in advance for a table (even been know 6 weeks for a Saturday) but during the week you may need to call a week ahead. I just can't praise this pub enough, and I don't even work for them!!!'
