Aldcliffe Lance Pubs : The Waterwitch pub in Aldcliffe Lance near Lancaster
'I think this is a great pub. The location is excellent (on the canal tow path), the choice of beers is good, the staff ahve been friendly on each visit, and the decor is smart but by no means stuffy. One weekend visit recently the place was straining under 2 private hires (a wedding & a birthday), but even so the kitchen staff still managed to turn out a really decent sandwich for us normal punters. Top place. '
