Cambridge Pubs : The Burleigh Arms pub in Cambridge
'The Burleigh has changed over the last two years. The service is faster, and the pub is almost always busy. The menu is always the same, serving standard pub fayre, chilli, steak and ale pie, fish and chips, jackets..... All the meals look and taste good, and very reasonable price, but the soul seems to be missing. It has become so busy at times, it takes on the appearance of a cafe, rather than a pub.... lots of people wanting a quick meal and then leaving, and the table being taken straight away. In the evening, it has more of a pub feel with regulars chatting around the bar. Usually some sport is on the tv. Basically Reasonable food at good price, 3 ales, but not to my taste '
