Bilston Pubs : The Grapes pub in Bilston
'Went to the Grapes for meal with in-laws.The food was nothing special,usual processed crap and everything with chips.The beer,we had lager and bitter was average.The landlady was as friendly as a viper and the service was really slow.Saying that the pub itself was clean,but no atmosphere I'm sorry to say.I believe locally it is known as the "Funeral pub" because of the amount of wakes held there.Don't like children there (unless you are a member of the landladies family).Would not recommend it.'

Bilston Pubs : The Old White Rose pub in Bilston near Wolverhampton
'This pub is ok for real ale drinkers and if you want cheap meals and are not too fussy about cleanliness.Smoking area is a dirty patio out the back with the vegetables and old oil cans.Most of the smoking clientele tend to stand outside the front door which blocks the narrow footpath.Big garden but again has been neglected.Bar staff are friendly enough and the clientele are a mixed bunch,not many young folk. '
