'Being opposite the main Railway station in Wigan this pub gets very busy on football/rugby days. Cracking old interior with huge stained glass window selling a number of real ales (inc some from local Allgates brewery) and all at decent prices and well kept'

Aspull Pubs : New Inn pub in Aspull near Wigan
'Sadly seems to have fallen on hard times. Used to be a lively community pub serving good Jennings real ales. Last time I went in it was a Friday eve and was completely empty with sky being taken out and the time before that they only had canned beers. For sale sign been outside for a while now'
