'Well, I do not normally go in for reviews. Not writing them anyway. I do find some very interesting, and such is the case here. Referring to the comments made by "antisober" I find myself in agreement.What a cracking pub, with a lovely selection of ales and other alcoholic refreshment at normal times. During their beer festivals one is really spoilt for choice. I attended their winter beer festival this week and had a wonderful time trying out several different ales and ciders. BUT, what a shame that there was only one table for the smokers. I speak as anon smoker myself, however antisober made a very good point about the huge area they have, and only making over such a tiny area for the smokers. They are not second class citizens, and by my observations I would say they spend as much, if not more than the non-smokers. I feel that such situations are inevitably going to result in an overall reduction in trade. Everyone needs to be catered for equally in my opinion. As I said, I am not a smoker, but I strongly disagreee with this law, and it puts pubs in a difficult position. However we now have to live with it for the time being and I feel that a little more thought could have been put into this situation. Right, that's off my chest and I am looking forward to returning.'
