Baginton Pubs : The Oak In Baggington pub in Baginton near Coventry
'We use to go to The Baginton Oak some years ago and found it to be one of the best pubs around.Food was fantastic! It use to be packed and it was hard to get a table. When we drove in to the car park today, it was nearly empty and it was Sunday lunchtime, I had never seen this before. In the 7 years since we last went to this Pub, I don't know whats happened!The food we ordered was not very good at all. The starters, well, when they came they looked like they were from some fancy restaurant but thats where the similarities ended! They tasted bad and left a bad after taste. Ok, so we waited for the main course and we waited! When it came, well, what can I say, A T-bone medium rare Steak came out pretty well done with horrible oven ready chips. As for the Roasts, The Roast potatoes were over cooked and dried out, the Brussel Sprouts where hardly cooked and the whole meal just tasted like it had been over heated, not fresh at all. Sorry won't be going again. Spoke to a few other people who have stopped going there also because they didn't think much of the food. I must admit I have never had a meal that bad before. Bring back the old Baginton before it's too late!!! or is it?'
