Warlingham Pubs : The Horseshoe pub in Warlingham
'A nice looking pub which I believe has just been re opened after a face lift. The pub is modem looking and looks very clean we went 2 days before Christmas for a drink and it would have been nice if the gas open fires were lit. We went for lunch on the 28. December and again the fires were not lit. The service from the smart looking bar staff was good , not over friendly but ok . The service on both occasions was slow as the bar staff would instead of taking all your order in one go would take one drink at a time. The menu was small and not very exciting but the quality of the food was first class . The service was good and we did not have to wait to long for the food . I had garlic mushrooms on toast which was really good and roast beef . The veg was some of the best I have ever had . My wife had the seafood pancake which was also good. The wine list was also good . I would go back . Some more smiles would be nice. Well done '
